Our Story

SandyLife Baptist Church began in 2019 but our story began long before we formally started this faith community. We are a group of people - young and young at heart - who have come from other churches and other places, compelled to serve God in Sandringham and beyond.

We meet at the former Sandringham Baptist Church building where a number of us had become involved through the work of that church. As that church declined, we felt that God was calling us to a new, fresh expression of church - and SandyLife was born. 

We want to connect with the people of Sandringham and beyond, to get to know people and to be a community where people can feel not just welcome, but truly belong. We also want to provide a place where people can explore, discuss and discover together what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world. Our desire is to share stories of God’s love, hope and healing that is open to all through knowing Jesus, because we believe that Jesus transforms lives and gives us purpose.
